One on One or Semi Private Training

Get 1 on 1 training or reduce the cost and train with friends or like minded people with semi private training (2-4 people) with an ESSA registered Exercise Scientist. Lose weight, gain muscle, reduce health risks, prepare for a sport or event and have fun! Individual sessions will be based on a program tailored to your specific goals and fitness levels. Not a run of the mill gym program or random bunch of exercises thrown together with no specific aim. Everything you do will be based on exercise science with a range of training parameters manipulated and planned to ensure progress is being made. Semi private training will be a mix of resistance based training, high intensity interval training and circuit training involving a range of methods and equipment targeting strength, endurance, flexibilty and balance. Consistent progression is the key to getting the results you want, and your performance will be continually monitored to ensure you are improving and being challenged session to session. You will also be able to receive regular health and fitness testing. Your health and fitness levels will be assessed and monitored as you undertake your journey with Carey Fitness. Assessments can include body composition analysis, health risk screening, strength testing, cardiorespiratory fitness, flexibility and range of motion testing.


Mobile Training

Carey Fitness also offers mobile personal training, where you can stay at home and we come to you. We bring all the equipment for fantastic sessions right to your door or a nearby park. Great for people who are busy and can't find time to head to a gym or training facility, as well as anyone who just wants to workout in the comfort of their own home. Carey Fitness currently offers mobile training in Berwick, Beaconsfield, Officer, Pakenham, Narre Warren and surrounding areas.


Strength & Conditioning

High performance training aimed at increasing the sporting performance of athletes of any level and experience. Programs and training methods using applied sports science to improve the individuals strength, power, speed, flexibility, endurance and overall athletic ability. Including a focus on pre-hab and injury prevention protocols as well as proven methods to increase recovery and fully allow for adaptation to occur. Athletes training loads will be monitored as will their physical abilities through fitness testing of strength, speed, endurance, flexibility and agility. Sports nutrition assistance is also offered.

Corporate Fitness

Having fit and healthy employees is a great way to increase productivity, morale and corporate image in the workplace, as well as reducing absenteeism, illness and injuries. In the workplace exercise scientists can perform health and fitness testing, take corporate fitness sessions, offer nutritional guidance, implement health and exercise programs as well as performing recruitment testing. Nutritional Assistance 

Your diet plays a big role on your overall health and well being, exercise alone is not sufficient without proper nutrition. Have your diet assessed and evaluated at Carey Fitness and then receive a comprehensive guide on the types and amount of foods you should be eating to reach your specific goals. A formula will be used to determine how many calories your body needs per day to either maintain, lose or gain weight depending on your situation. There will also be included a break down on the three macronutrients: carbohydrates, proteins and fats, with information of how much of each should be included in your diet as well as the best sources of these macronutrients. 

Online Training

Want to get fit in your own time without working out with a trainer? Carey Fitness offers online personal training to allow you to reach your fitness goals without the added expense of regular 1 on 1 sessions. Your goals and requirements will be assessed and then a comprehensive 6 week training program will be tailored to you. You will also have your diet assessed and receive nutritional guidance to help you achieve results. As you complete the program you will be regularly monitored to ensure improvements are being made and you have unlimited access to Carey Fitness for help, support, advice, or any questions. At the conclusion of each program you will be reassessed and a new program will be developed to ensure continual progression.
